Arriving in Hana is only the beginning of an enchanting arc of natural beauty and cultural diversity.
Only a short drive from Hana, Hamoa Beach is one of the wonders of East Maui, with an absolutely stunning natural setting.
Next on the arc are the Pools of Oheo. They are beautifully-tiered, waterfall-fed pools located Haleakala National Park. The fee to enter the park also permits you to view sunrise from the summit. Reservations are required!
But please don’t stop there.
The Kipahulu area of Haleakala National Park offers numerous self-guided hiking trails that reward climbers with bamboo forests, cascading falls and deep green vistas. As a bonus, check out the coffee shop nestled in a bamboo forest secluded from the highway.
